We, the members of the Altis Police Department are committed to excellence in law enforcement and are dedicated to the people, traditions and diversity of our Island. # Standards

All officers are expected to keep an outstanding level of roleplay at all times. We are here to enforce the law but first and foremost Roleplay. with that being said we expect all officers to reward roleplay. People that stop and talk to us always needs to have a fair chance to get away with whatever crime they have committed. If they have a valid and reasonable RP story let them off or give them a reduced ticket or punishment and inform them about this. If guns are involved they are to be seized and another form of reward for the roleplay is to be given this is because the guns are the leading cause of violence. If we go in with the mentality to catch everyone and everything there is no reason to stop because it is not beneficial. If an officer is seen neglecting the fact that a good Roleplay story has been given and does not reward this action may be taken. people need to be able to speak their way out of trouble otherwise the whole concept of a roleplay server is lost and we have to make this possible.

# Ranks

Commissioner COM TBA The Commissioner is responsible for ensuring all police policies and procedures are up to scratch. They are also there to maintain the public image of the police force dealing with any issues that arise on the PCC.
Deputy Commissoner DCOM TBA The Deputy Commissioner ensures that Constabularies and Units up to date. They ensure any new policies or updates to policies are fully conveyed to the police force, whilst also being involved in the decision making process.
Chief Superintendent C/SUPT TBA The Chief Superintendent is responsible for managing their constabulary, ensuring the proper training and ongoing development of all their officers. They also carry out any disciplinary actions required, set constabulary policies, and carry out promotions.
Superintendent SUPT TBA The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the progression of officers within their constabulary. They will provide feedback to officers and conduct reviews to ensure officers are in keeping with the constabulary and departmental policies.
Chief Inspector C/INSP TBA A core leadership role awarded only to a select few deemed eligible by the C/SUPT and SUPT of their constabulary. They are expected to have exceptional leadership qualities and have the ability to provide training and guidance to all officers of a lower rank who may need extra support in their development. They are also expected to organize operations and lead operations.
Inspector INSP TBA The Inspector is a core leadership role awarded only to a select few deemed eligible by the C/SUPT and SUPT of their constabulary. They are expected to have exceptional leadership qualities and have the ability to provide training and guidance to all officers of a lower rank who may need extra support in their development.
Desk Sergeant DSGT TBA The Desk Sergeant within a constabulary, expected to manage units and take commanding roles during operations. They will provide assistance and guidance to lower-ranking officers, offering ongoing training and development opportunities to members of their constabulary.
Sergeant SGT TBA The Sergeant is subject to the continued development of an officer’s career. They will have advanced knowledge and understanding of the laws within the Island and of the tools available to officers to assist with completing their duties. They are responsible for leading patrols and operations as well as maintaining the integrity of their lower-ranking officers. They are also required to provide direction and guidance to lower ranks if they need support.
Senior Police Constable SPC TBA The Senior Police Constable's have proven themselves in the line of duty and has been promoted. SPC's are expected to uphold the police standard and provide excellent roleplay and act as a role model to their peers!
Police Constable PC TBA The Constable has successfully completed the training modules required to rise above the rank of PCSO. They will be expected to have a fair knowledge and understanding of the laws they are to uphold, the punishments they can carry out, and the ability to conduct their duty without assistance.
Police Community Support Officer PCSO TBA The Police Community Support officer is the entry rank into the Altis Police Force, they're taking their first steps into learning their role. They're required to undergo training before heading out into the island as a fully trained member of Police. This consists of basic training and examinations under the guidance of the Police Training Unit, with assistance from regular officers.

# Specialist Divisions

# National Crime Agency (NCA)

The National Crime Agency, or NCA for short, is dedicated to combating the distribution of illegal narcotics and weapons while disrupting the financial activities of organized criminal networks. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and specialized weaponry to give them the upper hand.

# National Policing Air Service (NPAS)

NPAS or National Police Air Service is the acting Air service in the Police force. We are the unit that provides aerial support for ground units as well as transportation across the island. We have a large inventory of helicopters which help us achieve these goals.

# Marine Police Unit (MPU)

The Marine Policing Unit (MPU) is a specialized unit within the police force. Responsible for policing the waters around Altis. Our officers are trained to handle a wide range of waterborne emergencies and incidents.

# Tactical Firearms Unit (TFU)

TFU (The Tactical Firearms Unit) is a highly specialized police unit trained to counter terrorism. They operate in small numbers in some of the most dangerous areas of the island, and their primary focus is to handle large-scale incidents like Police Lockup, Abandoned outpost, hostage situations, and jailbreaks, with the ultimate goal of minimizing harm to civilians.

# Returning Officers

Police officers may choose to leave the force for any given reason and are always welcome back, although they will return with a lower rank to compensate for the knowledge lost. If the officer returns within 6 months they will not have to do the training they previously already received. If the rejoin occurs after 6 months, ex-officers will have to redo the PCSO training course to refresh their knowledge before returning to the stated return rank below. If it has been over a year since the officer left, then they will return as a PCSO and follow the same progression as any new officer would.

# Returning Officer Cooldown

Each time you leave cops, you will receive a cooldown of X number weeks, once this cooldown is over you are free to join the police again. The cooldown time increases every time you leave to encourage you to stay in the cops.

# Kicked Officer Cooldown

If a police officer has been kicked because of some rule-breaking or inactivity. Then please follow the following table:

If you are permanently banned from the server for whatever reason, you will be removed from the Police immediately and will have to discuss reinstatement when unbanned, with Command.

# Grace Period

We understand that you may leave the police, regret the decision and want to return without waiting for a cooldown. So there is a 48 hour period from when you leave the police in which you can return without any negative impact on your police career, however, there are some conditions to this:

  • You can only use this grace period once every 6 months.

  • If you use this period to play as a rebel your cooldown will change to the kicked officer system (Management WILL check before an officer returns using the grace period)

  • If you are kicked from the police you are not eligible and must wait the kicked cooldown period

# Medic FastTrack

The police are always in need of new members to help protect the lands of Altis. Police and Medical command have decided that anyone with the medic rank of JDOC can after their joining, skip their obligatory trainee hours but will still have to perform the same tests as everyone else. However, if you are under the age of 15 you are not allowed to skip any hours and must complete all your hours in order for us to see if you are mature enough to play in the police.

# Reward/Promotions/Holidays

# Promotion System

The promotion system is designed to be as fair as possible, the ranks of PSCO and PCSO to PC are training ranks and to that end, it is at the discretion of the Academy as it is there job to ensure you are trained and ready to be in a Constabulary. After you are placed into a Constabulary, to be promoted you need to first meet the minimum time served in rank, this can be found in the table below:

Once you meet the minimum time served (shown above) you will be eligible for promotion, however, promotion is not guaranteed. Each week: you need to meet the hour requirements (7 hours per week or 3 hours for Academy). Once eligible you will be discussed in the weekly Constabulary Command meeting, where all your feedback will be taken into consideration and you will either be granted promotion or denied, if you are denied a promotion, contact your constabulary command and they will inform you of why you were not promoted and points to work on.

Only the Police High Command (i.e. the Police COM's) can overrule these promotions. People who are promoted to the rank of Police Board or Police Command are placed onto a 2 week probationary period from the date of promotion. During your probationary period, any DCOM+ can end your probation for any genuine reason. This will be voted on.

# Power promotions

Power promotions are not to be common place in the Police. The Commissioners of the Altis Police Force are the only people who are allowed to alter the promotion DATE and this will be voted on, and normally only by a couple days either side.

# Holiday System

To be entitled to a holiday you need to be a minimum of SGT and have spent at least 1 month in the police force, the police holiday is used to relieve some stress within the police force, the rules around police holidays are as follows:

  • You are not an off duty officer so do not say you are.
  • Police holidays are a maximum of 4 days in length.
  • You can go on holiday once every 2 months (every month for Academy).
  • You are not to go on holiday to intentional target police officers.
  • There can be no more than 6 Officers on Holiday at any given time
  • There can be no more than 2 constabulary command members on holiday at any one time.
  • You Must apply for a police holiday at least 24 hours before your police holiday is due to start.

# Police Holiday within Blackwater

  • If a member of Police/Blackwater joins Police/Blackwater on their designated Holiday, they will be whitelisted as SGT in Cops, and Sgt in Blackwater. The unit command such as TFU, NCA, NPAS & SRT may whitelist them within their unit.
  • If a member of Police/Blackwater during their Holiday within the Police/Blackwater, break Police/Blackwater rules or come to intentionally troll, they will be blacklisted from the Police and punished within Police/Blackwater with full correspondence between Generals & Commissioners
  • Players must not join opposing faction for intelligence gathering or sharing cop/bw information, this will lead to cross faction punishment

# Ticket and Prison system

# Fixed Penalty Notice

  • Max fine 100k
  • Intended to be given for Minor offences (speeding, public order act, public display of a firearm etc)
  • FPN price can be negotiated depending on their roleplay
  • If you suspect them of having additional crimes but they don't have ID, and there crimes aren't serious (FPNs do NOT wipe their PNC record)

# Tickets

  • Max fine 500k
  • Doesn't matter if they have an ID or not
  • Intended to be given for more serious offenses (manslaughter, robbery, attempted murder, etc)
  • Ticket price can be negotiated depending on their roleplay
  • If they have ID you can check their PNC record
  • If they don't then calculate the charges, issue the ticket based on that, and or reduce based on roleplay
  • If they fail to pay an FPN 3 times = Jail
  • If they fail to pay a ticket 3 times = Jail
  • Carrying ID or not has zero influence on FPN/Ticket prices, it allows you to check their PNC record and that's it!!
  • You CAN NOT send them to jail for not carrying ID

Issuing an FPN/ticket depends on the individual situation and needs to be assessed by the arresting officer through roleplay.

The FPN (Fixed Penalty Notice) system now allows you to give someone a ticket without affecting their wanted status. You are only to use this when the officer has witnessed them commit a crime, such as a traffic offense, although the max is currently £100k.

The ticket is a punishment for crimes that are not worth prison time and is given after reading someone their rights.

# Police Rules

# Server Rules

1.1 - All members of the police force must always follow the server rules.

# Teamspeak/Discord

2.1 - Police must be on Teamspeak and in a patrol/operations channel whilst on duty.

2.2 - Police Officers must be in the Reload Discord and it is their responsibility to request the necessary tags for themselves.

2.2 - Police Officers must be in the Reload Discord and it is their responsibility to link their account.

2.3 - Whispers must be set up before patrolling. Officers found to not have this basic communication setup will be punished.

2.4 - Ride alongs may be authorised by a Police INSP or above. The ridealong must change their Teamspeak name to "(Name) - Ridealong".

2.5 - Police are only permitted to change their in-game/database name once every 3 months. This must be approved by SUPT+. The only exception to this rule is that a DCOM+ is allowed to authorised early name changes for a genuine reason

2.6 - If there are less than 8 cops online, you must all patrol in the same INTOP top channel. You can stay in an INTOP channel up to 10 cops online before returning to regular patrol channels.

# Police equipment

3.1 - Police may not sell, store, or give away their equipment unless under duress in roleplay.

3.2 - Police backpacks cannot be stolen, they do not exist, and police must not exploit them.

3.3 - Police are required to carry less than lethal with them on-duty and it must have priority over lethal firearms. Lethal is only to be used if necessary.

3.4 - Officers must not wear any form of wetsuit unless dealing with a Water based operation such as: Cocaine or MPU water operations.

3.5 - The combat/enhanced helmet & Mk.2 Vest is for operations only. The only exception is C/INSP+ and merit tier 3 who can wear it on normal patrol.

3.6 - Flashbangs may only be used by C/SUPT+ or members of NCA/TFU, and you may only carry a maximum of 2. They are to be treated with respect, NO trolling.

3.7 - 7.62 suppressors may not be used on normal patrol, they are for operations, and division patrols only.

3.8 - The equipment and vehicles used in major crimes may only be used when responding to a major crime and must be disposed of as soon as the major operation is complete.

3.9 - Officers may pick up weapons/attachments that are above what they are authorised to use ONLY if they have a clear requirement to do so, such as not having sufficient ammunition for your standard-issue weapon. Once the situation is over, the weapon must be removed before engaging in any other situation.

3.10a You may use any weapons that come in your regular whitelisting whilst on normal patrol, with the following exceptions:

3.10b No LMGs above 5.56 with 30+ round mags. You may take LMGs (such as the MXSW) on normal patrol but you must use the <30 mags.

3.11 DCOM+ are permitted to use ANY whitelisted unit gear without restriction. Except from: Wetsuits.

# General Behaviour

4.1 - Police cannot execute people.

4.2 - Police may only restrain a suspect if they have their hands on their head, have been knocked out, hit with a non-lethal round or are dead.

4.3 - Lethal ammunition usage can be authorised by any officer on scene at a situation in which officers have been fired upon, wounded, or killed, as long as someone can confirm the hostiles. Police should make every attempt to defuse a situation with less than lethal and is only to be escalated to lethal if an officers life is threatened, or if major crime/hostage negotiations have failed.

4.4 - Always respect the chain of command. Follow orders from higher-ranked officers, raise any issues to your constabulary command.

4.5 - Always issue a suspect with three chances to pay a ticket. A refusal to pay three times is a jail sentence. No matter the ticket amount.

4.6a - When chasing a vehicle you should aim to spike strip them instead of tyre initiating. We understand this does not always work, however, so if you need to tyre initiate then you may do so at any time however you must ensure you have chased them for two min before shooting.

4.6b - Spike strips should only be used on moving vehicles. Using spike strips on stationary vehicles is not allowed. You are allowed to place strike strips around a stationary vehicle, but if they spike it you should allow the suspect to repair and continue the chase.

4.6c - If you do not have a vehicle to chase a suspect in you may tyre initiate then shoot immediately, this is only if you or another officer in the area is unable to follow. I.e they have stolen your car.

4.7 - You can not log on for warzones and then log off. Suspensions and removals will be given out if this is violated.

4.8 - Police are not allowed to purposely shoot each other with less than lethal weapons, or knock each other out etc.

4.9 - Logging on with any other name other than your listed PNC name will result in a warning point

4.10 - You must ensure a civilian is armed before engaging. Police cannot shoot unarmed civilians regardless of location.

# Off Duty

5.1 - Police cannot commit illegal / rebel activities as civilians, whilst employed as an officer.

5.2 - Police officers can request a holiday once every two months. Once the holiday has been reviewed and accepted by a DCOM+ you are no longer associated with the police during your holiday. Members of Academy can request a holiday once a month.

# Patrolling

6.1 - You’re not permitted to patrol on your own if there are other officers available.

6.2 - You are allowed to respond to ongoing situations in your own vehicle provided there are already officers on the scene. Once the situation is over you must join other officers for your patrol.

6.3 - PCSOs must NOT patrol by themselves, or in a group consisting of solely PCSOs, they need to patrol with a SPC or higher.

6.4 - There is a restricted amount of a maximum of 4 officers for each patrol unit, trainees do not count to the total.

6.5 - You must be a PC+ to go on a ride-along with a Police Division.

# Civilian Rights

7.1 - Police Cautions are to be read to a suspect whether you are interrogating at the station, at the scene of the crime, or in the middle of an open field. If a person is in custody (deprived of his or her freedom of action in any significant way), the police must read the Police Caution.

7.2 - Police must always read a suspect their Police Caution. “You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence”. When detaining.

7.3 - If the offence requires a ticket, not a jail sentence, officers must allow the civilian three chances to pay the ticket, and offer the detainee food and water before they are sent to prison if it is necessary to do so. The maximum ticket that can be given out is 500k.

7.4 - You MUST have reasonable suspicion to use Stop & Search Powers (S1, PACE 1984), and the constable MUST have some ‘objective basis’ for this suspicion.

7.5 - You can search a vehicle with the owner's consent anywhere but to search without their consent they must be seen in the immediate vicinity of an illegal area or they are committing an illegal activity.

# Impounding, crushing & seizing of vehicles

8.1 - No action can be taken by police against vehicles until a situation is deemed secure (3 minutes of peace have passed). To clarify when crushing/seizing/impounding a vehicle you must wait for three min of peace until the whole situation is over, not just until you have got three min of peace personally.

8.2 - When you have a positive ID on the vehicle and it has been used in illegal activity. (You do not need ID if it is an illegal vehicle E.g: MRAP/Armed vehicle). You need INSP+ permission to crush.

8.3 - Police must be ranked Insp+ to permit to scrap/crush & seize a vehicle.

8.4 - Police may not impound properly parked cars unless left unattended for a substantial amount of time.

8.5 - Police may crush a vehicle (once they have permission) if they have found that the owner is wanted for any crimes and if they can confirm that the vehicle was used in the said crime. No legal vehicles should be crushed without the owner of the vehicle being present or you can confirm the owner committed the crimes.

8.6 - Police are required to transport all vehicles ground & air back to a blue zone to crush them.

8.7 - If no ID is present and the act committed would result in a crush the vehicle should be seized. This remains INSP+ approval. this does not include illegal vehicles they are to be crush with or without id

# Crime Scenes

9 - Vehicles, bodies, items, weapons and loot are all evidence of a situation. Tampering with these is an offence and you can take action against other factions/civilians doing it.

# ANPR

10 - When using the ANPR system. Police can only act against the top name. Any others are considered named drivers on the insurance policy.

# Checkpoint

11.1 - A checkpoint can be authorized by a INSP+

11.2 - A checkpoint can be set up anywhere but public safety and respect to the surrounding area should be taken into consideration. Use common sense.

# House raiding

12.1 - House raiding can only be authorized by DCOM+ or a deputy+ of TFU/NCA.

12.2a - To perform a house raid you must have confirmed a heavily wanted criminal is the owner of the building.

12.2b - If the police are wanting to perform a house raid they must provide video evidence of a person entering a house with illegal items on them or transporting illegal items to a house. Reasonable evidence must also be sent to a DCOM+ or Deputy+ of TFU/NCA

(C/Insp+ can break a door down in combat if needed)

# Vehicle restrictions

14.1 - The maximum amount of MRAPs that can be taken to an operation is the amount the rebels have +1 ie. rebels have 2 MRAPs cops have 3 MRAPs.

14.2 - SUPT+ are allowed to bring a hunter to any planned operation or Bank

14.3 - C/INSP+ are allowed to use unmarked SUVs. At SUPT+ you are allowed to use the unmarked Hatchback.

14.4 - Unmarked police cars are to be used sparingly due to most citizens not knowing the existence of these and we aim to keep the element of surprise.

14.6 - If the use of a civilian aircraft is required, for example, to fly it back to a blue zone, the pilot must be a member of NPAS.

14.7 - Sports hatchbacks are to be driven by SGT+ only, (exception is if you are stranded or your partner has died)

14.8 - Qilins and Prowlers are deemed 'operation vehicles'. They must only be used when a situation is declared as an operation.

14.9 - DCOM+ are permitted to use the vehicles listed above without restrictions.

# Redzone

15 - Police may only enter the red zone with permission from C/Supt+ or Deputy+ of TFU/NCA. Deputy+ of NPAS can give authorisation for NPAS units to enter the red zone if pursuing a fleeing aircraft.

# Prison

16 - You need to give warnings to any aircraft before shooting it down unless already initiated with the aircraft. Warnings can be given with ALT+1 to order the aircraft to leave, or ALT+2 to order it to land.

# Illegal areas

17 - Any illegal / rebel activity areas can be watched for up to 10 minutes at a time. After that, a marker must be placed and officers cannot return there for 20 minutes unless chasing or tailing a suspect.

# Green Zones/Blue Zones

18 - Police are permitted to shoot here, but only with a non-lethal weapon.

# Major Crimes - Police Lockup/Abandoned Outpost

18.1 - Police equipment/vehicles may not be given out.

18.2 - Negotiators must always be sent in.

18.3 - The negotiator needs to be unarmed.

19 - The negotiator needs to do his/her very best, to make sure there will be no casualties. Negotiations must be continued for as long as is necessary. Police should not escalate the situation into a lethal one unless something severe happens.

20 - Once negotiations are called off lethal initation still needs to take place with reasonable time to comply.

20.1 - Follow the commands of the operation leader

Highest Ranking Officer

C/SUPT+ can intervene at anytime and become the Operation Leader. Failure to follow orders may result in punishment.

20.2 - Police are not allowed inside a major compound while negotiations are ongoing, this counts for Roleplay majors as well. Anyone seen doing this will be punished.

The negotiator can be escorted in by an opposing negotiator to verify hostages lives etc. People can still negotiate for a further distance within reason.

# Hostage operation

21.1 - If you see a police officer being taken hostage you are permitted to shoot, assuming there is no reasonable risk to the Police officers life.

21.2 - Police equipment/vehicles may not be tampered with or given out.

21.3 - If the captives request a negotiator, the police has to provide them with one. In all hostage situations, officers are to value the hostages' life and a gunfight is the last resort. The negotiator needs to do his/her very best, to make sure there will be no casualties. Lethal force is only to be used if negotiations fail, or the hostages are harmed in the process. Use common sense in all situations.

21.4 - The negotiator needs to be unarmed, this includes a taser, and their weapons cannot be in their inventory.

21.5 - Keep it within reason of the demands you’re given, for example, a constable is not worth 1 million. Always provide a reasonable offer depending on their roleplay level.

21.6 - Follow the commands of the hostage operation leader, failure to do so, can result in a warning point or any other kind of punishment.

21.7 - Police should not wire transfer people money for hostages/any type of negotiations, the money should be handed over in cash.

# Gang Night

22.1 - To attend a gang night as a civilian there must be 10 officers on patrol.

22.2 - If we drop below 10 police on we will @ police to come on, if the numbers remain below 10 for an extended period of time, Management or Police Command will take action to increase Police numbers.

22.3 - Officers should aim to play until 10:30 GMT to allow smooth operation on Gang Night.

22.4 - You are now permitted to use any operational weapons/vehicles within reason while on patrol (just for gang night 120 Noon - 240).

22.5 - TFU are allowed to go on patrol even if there is 0 police on.

# Leaving Police

23.1 - To leave police please contact a command member from your constabulary (INSP+), SUPT+ can handle any constabulary.

23.2 - Sending someone a message then playing as a rebel is not sufficient, they must reply to your message with confirmation of you leaving. If you fail to follow this rule then it will be classed as rebel activity and you may be punished.

23.3 - Please note depending on your rank within a unit or police you may be required to give 1 weeks notice before leaving the police. This can be waved by the Chief of the relevant division, C/Supt of the relevant constabulary, or a DCOM+ for all.

  • C/INSP+ are required to give a week notice before leaving.
  • Command in NPAS, TFU, and NCA are required to give a week notice before leaving Police/their division rank.
  • Academy command are required to give a weeks notice before leaving Police/their division rank.

# Operation Definition

24.1 - For a situation to be classed as an operation, it must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Major crimes (Police Lockup/Abandoned Outpost)
  • Redzone (including warzone and supply convoy)
  • PD Raids
  • Hostage situations
  • Planned operations (drug busts, house raids)
  • Bank of Arudy
  • C/Insp+ authorisation to class the situation as an operation

24.2 - When responding to one of the operations listed above, you must still follow the rules and guidelines found in your specialist unit handbook (if applicable).

# Documentation

25.1 - C/Supt+ can sign roleplay documents for Lockup, Abandon outpost and Bank of Arudy.

25.2 - If the documentation is signed any agreements or criteria within the document must be abided to by both sides, however do not use this as an excuse to break roleplay.

# Police Complaints Commision

The Police Complaints Commission allows members of the public to question the action of any police officer and receive an appropriate response promptly.

All police complaints are to be posted to the PCC to allow a record to be kept of all issues and actions taken, as well as to be used as a reference for future complaints so a common approach to situations can be maintained.

Officers shall only post in response to complaints that they are directly involved in, any officers posting on complaints in which they are not directly involved shall be subject to disciplinary procedures.

Police complaints shall be dealt with by the Chief Superintendent and Superintendent. All posts made in the PCC by officers should remain professional. Failure to adhere to the standards set will see officers subject to disciplinary procedures.

All evidence, be it; written, screenshot or video, are to be posted to the PCC to allow for all parties to review the evidence provided.

Discussions should not take place outside the PCC regarding the complaint unless it is to clarify information that has already been provided.

Any complaint that is seen to violate server rules shall be referred to the administration team for processing.

# Discipline Procedure

Disciplinary procedures can be conducted by members of the police force ranked as Superintendent and above.

Should you disagree with any disciplinary action taken you have the right to one appeal. An appeal can be made and will be sent to the Deputy Commissioner or Commissioner.

You are only allowed to give away one punishment, stated underneath.

Disciplinary action may take the form of, but is not limited to;

  • Verbal warning
  • Written warning
  • Temporary demotion
  • Permanent demotion
  • Temporary removal of assets
  • Permanent removal of assets
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent removal
  • Temporary removal from a specialist unit
  • Permanent removal from a specialist unit
  • Each warning point is permanent unless reviewed and removed by DCOM+, if the warning point is 6+ months old it is unlikely to be factored into the next statement. Two warnings will equal a demotion, a total of three will result in a kick from the police.

# Police Retraining

The alternative to the above discipline procedures is going on a training course that academy run that will show you how to properly conduct yourself while you are in the police force. This is called Retraining. Anyone who is at the rank of INSP or below can be put forward for retraining if their constabulary command thinks it is necessary to do so.

Any SUPT+ of academy or above can approve a retraining request and this is typically done for offences like “Not following police procedure” or “Not roleplaying like a police officer”.

# Communications

Proper radio communications are critical and are a basic requirement for police officers. Messages must be clear, concise and contain all the necessary information for other officers to act and respond appropriately.
